Skyler and Sydney LOVED their first boat ride.  They loved the water.  They loved the wind.  They loved the birds.  They loved their life jackets.  They loved the other boats.  They loved their boat!  They loved the good night’s sleep they got after a day of boating.  They were two very tired girls!

We spent the past weekend moving furniture, corralling two rambunctious babies, putting up pots and pans, and just enjoying the newness of the lake house.  I love new houses, before things have been moved in.  They look so big and wide [...]

For me, happiness is a clean house, my whole family home in the evening, a fun weekend ahead, and watching my babies go nuts over something new…

“One egg, fried, over-easy, please!”

“Hey, come on!  I ordered it over half an hour ago!”

Today, Sydney said her first sentence.  It caught me by surprise and it was very cute.  She turned one palm up and said, “Where’s Joey?”

Then I handed her the book and she found the page where Joey resides.  All was right with the world.

This was Sydney’s first time on a pony, (although she believed it was a “dog-dog”.)  She OWNED that tiny horse!  She patted him, waved at us, and then did a few bare-back tricks.  I think she thoroughly enjoyed all five dollars worth of the ride!
