I didn’t blog about date number ten, and life has just been so stinking busy that I haven’t had much of a chance to blog anything at all. So, today is going to be a catch-up post.
For date # 10, my mom and dad watched the girls and we drove to an Italian food place. It was tasty, fun, and relaxing. The funny thing about it was that we have an Italian place we love in Fort Smith, but we’d already been there once that weekend, so we didn’t want to go twice. Instead we went out to Tahlequah and went to the first good, open place we found. After dinner, Ping started chatting with the owner and it turned out that he was partners with the guy who owns the place in Fort Smith. Small world!
Date number 11 was small, but fun. I wrote out a questionnaire for us to complete and then we read our answers to each other. Here were my ten questions:
1. What is your favorite color, food, song, & season:
2. Name a good memory from our first ten years:
3. List five of your favorite things about Ping:
4. What is one thing you could do to make Ping happier:
5. What is one thing you would like Ping to work on:
6. Best movie we’ve seen this year:
7. If you had to give a detailed description of Ping to someone, what would you say:
8. What is something you are really thankful for and why:
9. Where do you see us in ten years:
10. What is one thing you would like us to do in the next year:
I actually really enjoyed this one. It wasn’t exactly Ping’s cup of tea, but sometimes you have to push him outside of the box. (Dad, both of those cliches are for you!) It’s kind of a nice centering thing to talk about this stuff every once in a while. It keeps us focused.
